Hello, My name is Steve Gillespie and I am thrilled to be teaching at Grant. I have 15 years experience teaching everything from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Most of my time has been spent in a Middle School setting so I bring a high set of expectations for both behavior and academics. I live in La Mesa with my lovely wife Becky and our three children Nicolas, Spencer and Tabitha. Becky and I have traveled extensively around the world and look forward to more once the babies are potty-trained. Diapers just take up too much room in a suitcase. In my free time I enjoy riding bicycles... a lot.
